Marmaris Ephesus Tour

Ephesus is an ancient Greek city that’s around 210 KM from Marmaris. The whole journey involves driving for almost two and a half hours via the D550 freeway. Our agency offers tourists a luxurious Marmaris Ephesus tour, providing you with an engaging opportunity to understand the history of Ephesus.

As a travel agency, we hold these types of tours regularly and they are normally conducted by professional tour guides. Or guides are well-experienced, informed, friendly, and speak fluent English. Note that apart from taking tourists to this ancient city, the daily Ephesus tour also includes visiting the House of Virgin Mary, a renowned shrine that’s located over Bulbul Mountain.  Located roughly 3 KM from the Selcuk in Izmir Province, Ephesus was a massive province during the Roman Period and it had a population of more than 250,000 people. Recent excavations indicate that this ancient city is undoubtedly one of the biggest open-air museums found in Turkey with the area becoming a popular attraction site.   As one of Turkey’s earliest human settlements, Ephesus is an interesting place that’s rich in history. Founded in 10th BC by the Greek colonists, this city’s popularity mainly rose from the Temple of Artemis, a renowned grand building that has hundreds of high and huge columns which were once among the seven wonders in the ancient world.   Ephesus receives more than 2 million visitors every year. Some of the most captivating parts which are found in this region include the Library of Celsus, the remains of a large and impressive amphitheater which could host almost 24,000, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Ancient Artemis Temple which previously drew pilgrims from the surrounding Mediterranean region.   Taking the Ephesus tour will allow you to come across various cultures which are associated with the Roman Imperial, early Christianity, and the Hellenistic. There are buildings which contain marble paneling, mosaics, and wall paintings and they act as representatives of the cultural traditions of the ancient inhabitants of this city.
